SpaceX launches 13 satellites for the US Space Force, lands a rocket and sets a record (video)

On Saturday (September 2), with a two-day delay, SpaceX launched a new, advanced set of military satellites into the orbit of the US Space Force, setting its own speed record at the same time.

A Falcon 9 rocket carrying 13 spacecraft for the Space Development Agency (SDA) rose into the misty morning sky over Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on Saturday at 10:26am EDT (2:26pm GMT; 7:26am local time CA), with the first stage booster returning to Vandenberg to maintain the landing. It was the 13th flight of the rocket booster.
