Meghan Markle, Prince Harry mocked in brutal 2023 royal review

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle Meghan, who moved to the US after leaving the royal family in 2020, have been branded the ‘retreating royals of Montecito’ in a brutal 2023 review of the royal family.

A well-known broadcaster and columnist showed no mercy to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when he profiled life at the firm in 2023.

Esther Krakow spoke about some of the key events witnessed this year in talks with Sky News presenter Carolyn Di Russo, saying: “2023 started with the publication of Spare by Harry, which after the Netflix documentary and interview with Oprah Winfrey was just another in a series of whining and whining by the Sussex family and accusations about how badly they have been treated by the royal family.”

The commentator went on to take a brutal dig at the California-based couple, saying: “Going from that to the South Park episode that effectively mocked the Sussexes and talked about their privacy world tour. It’s really been quite a roller coaster of a year, but it’s been enjoyable too.”

Esther Krakue is honored to share her thoughts on the “displaced Montecito royalty.”

It comes after King Charles’ latest snub to Harry, with the Duke not appearing in the royal coronation documentary despite being there earlier this year.

Krakue said his absence “is not a surprise as he was not involved in the coronation at all.

“His children and his wife chose to stay in California, although for some reason he insisted on giving his children the title of prince and princess. He wasn’t the focus, it wasn’t about him.’
