Meghan Markle attends Beyoncé’s second concert in four days

Meghan Markle proved she’s such a fan of Beyoncé that she attended two of her shows over Labor Day weekend.

On Monday, September 4, the Duchess of Sussex attended one of Beyoncé’s final shows as part of her Renaissance World Tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Meghan was seen watching the show with Kelly Rowland, former member of Beyoncé’s Destiny’s Child group, and Kerry Washington.

The trio followed the singer’s wish that fans wear silver to her shows in honor of her birthday on Monday (September 4), with Meghan wearing a high-necked black top with a metallic silver skirt while Rowland wore a black corset-style top with a silver choker necklace and silver face jewelry. Washington wore a silver and black sequined top and a silver handbag.

The ‘Cuff It’ singer turned 42 on Monday and asked her fans to wear the color in honor of the zodiac period, Virgo season, for the final dates of her world tour, which kicked off in May. “Virgo season is upon us,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. “This tour has been such a joy and as we approach last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with you by wearing your most fabulous silver creations at the show from 8/23-8/22.”

“Each evening, we will surround ourselves with a glittering human disco ball. Everyone reflecting everyone’s joy, Virgo is together in the Chrome House. We’ll see each other there!”

Meghan’s outfit for Monday’s concert was similar to the one she wore at Beyoncé’s concert on Friday, September 1, with her mother, Doria Ragland and her husband, Prince Harry. Meghan wore a shimmering silver skirt and white tank top to watch the concert, while her mother wore a chic high-necked silver top and white trousers. Harry, 38, opted for a more subtle outfit, wearing a gray shirt, gray blazer and white trousers.

In a photo posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, Prince Harry and his wife stood in a private box with Meghan’s mother and her close friend Abigail Spencer.

Several videos shared on social media also showed Meghan having fun as she danced to Beyoncé’s ‘Diva’, and Harry joined her as they kissed and danced together during ‘1+1’ and ‘Love On Top’ “.

Meghan and Harry first met the singer and her husband Jay-Z in 2019. The Lion King in London.

The couples appeared to remain close, as Meghan revealed in the Netflix docuseries, Harry and Meghanthat Beyoncé texted her after she and Harry sat down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey in the spring of 2021.

“Beyoncé just texted,” Meghan told Harry with a smile. “I just checked in,” Meghan said, dictating the message before adding, “I still can’t believe she knows who I am!”

“Go call him,” Harry told his wife.

“No, it’s fine,” Meghan replied. “She said she wanted me to feel safe and protected. She admires and respects my courage and vulnerability and believes that I have been selected to break generational curses that need to be healed.

The couple’s appearance at the Los Angeles concert comes just days after the release of Prince Harry’s Netflix documentary, The heart of Invictus. The series follows Prince Harry and a group of veterans who compete in the Invictus Games, a global sporting event founded by the Duke that helps support injured service personnel.
