‘Classic’ Princess Diana reimagined at 62 by AI on death anniversary: See

Princess Diana caused an outpouring of grief and shock after her unexpected death almost three decades ago.

As the nation commemorates the iconic figure 26 years after her death on August 31, it has prompted many to reflect on the potential trajectory of her life had she survived.

One of them was photographer Alper Yesiltas, who used social media to re-imagine what dead celebrities would have looked like if they had lived to a ripe old age.

Among the late stars were Michael Jackson, Heath Ledger, Freddie Mercury and the former Princess of Wales, who would have been 62.

According to the artist, the photo was created using “various software programs” to be as realistic as possible.

In Alper’s iteration of the aged Diana, the late princess is captured in a sun-kissed complexion paired with short white hair.

Age spots and wrinkles cover most of her skin, highlighted by her bright blue eyes, accompanied by bags beneath them.

Contrary to her sharp jawline in her youth, the AI-generated image shows that she has softened over the years and her rounded facial shape has been replaced by a more relaxed bone structure.

After the photo was shared, fans had their say on the fake image, with most of them saying it would have looked much better than the PC reimagining.

“Diana wouldn’t have looked as old and I agree her hair would have been much neater.” Her hair wouldn’t be white, it would still be blonde,” wrote a user.

“There is no way Diana looks that old at 60. This is a terrible interpretation of her, maybe when she would have been 80. She was and always will be classic and beautiful,” confirmed another.
